COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Converse (2-4) College tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision at the hands of the Benedict (1-0) Tigers on Thurs afternoon to open the spring season. Steffi Kong was able to secure a No. 1 singles victory over Caroline Nguy by retirement, while Morgan Hildebrandt cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 No. 5 singles win over Juliet Campbell.
