SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Converse Tennis team came out victorious against the visiting King Tornado in Conference Carolinas action on Wednesday afternoon winning, 6-3.

Taylor Parrott clinched the match for the Valkyries at the No. 4 singles winning her match 6-3, 6-2.  Parrott moves to 7-10 on the season.

Steffi Kong breezed through her match winning 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 singles.  Steffi moves to 6-8 on the season.

Kaitlin Knight and Taylor Parrott picked up the doubles win at No. 2 doubles with an 8-7 (7-5) comeback win.  The duo moves to 6-5 on the season.

Kaitlin Knight fought back down a set to win the second set 6-1 and the tiebreaker set 10-8 for her eighth win of the season.
