CENTRAL, S.C.- The Converse Tennis team dropped their regular season finale on the road against Southern Welseyan, 6-3, on Tuesday afternoon.
Converse picked up wins at number one doubles and number three and five singles.
Margaret Pridmore and Kaitlin Knight picked up the win in doubles action winning 8-5. Alex Schlesener and Samantha Sheffield played tough at number two doubles but fell 8-6.
Kaitlin Knight picked up the win at the third singles slot with a 7-5, 6-2 victory. Klaire Rouse won at the number six singles with a decisive 6-2, 6-0 victory.
Converse will grab the number eight seed in the upcoming Conference Carolinas Tennis Championships hosted by top-seeded Erskine April 28-May 1 at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, S.C.
