TIGERVILLE, S.C.- Converse Tennis fell to North Greenville in the Conference Carolinas regular season finale, 9-0. The Valkyries fall to 6-11 on the season and 5-6 in conference play. NGU improves to 9-11 and 7-3 in league play.
Alex Schlesener won the first set in No. 1 singles 7-5 before dropping the second set. Schlesener ultimately fell in the tiebreaker 10-6.
The duo of Kaitlin Knight and Margaret Pridmore dropped an 8-4 decision at the No. 1 doubles slot. Taylor Littlejohn-Barr and Mary Kaitlyn Flynn fell at the No. 3 doubles clip by a score of 8-4.
Converse enters the Conference Carolinas Tennis Championships as the No. 7 seed. The Valkyries will face the No. 2 seed on Thursday, April 24 in the quaterfinals of the Conference Carolinas Tennis Championships in Sumter, S.C. hosted by Erskine. First serve slated for 12 noon.
