SPARTANBURG, S.C.- Converse Tennis streak of four straight match wins came to an end this afternoon against Conference Carolinas leader Limestone, 9-0. Converse falls to 5-10 on the season and 4-5 in league play. Limestone improves to 10-5 on the season and remains perfect at 9-0 in league play.
Converse started with singles competition to try to beat the incoming inclement weather. Limestone swept singles competition in straight sets. Converse battled in the doubles competition but fell short.
Converse returns to the hard courts tomorrow, April 14 against Southern Wesleyan in their final home match of the season. First serve is at 3pm.
