Valkyrie Tennis Falls Short Against Mars Hill

SPARTANBURG, S.C.- Valkyrie Tennis fell short against Mars Hill in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon, 6-3.

Converse (0-2) picked up a doubles win from Alex Schlesener (Stone Mountain, Ga.) and Kaitlin Knight (Sumter, S.C.), while Mars Hill (3-2) picked up two doubles victories.

Klaire Rouse (Gilbert, Ariz.) won the #5 singles 6-0, 6-2 and Liz Graham (Bristol, Va.) won the #6 singles 6-2, 6-4 to lead the match at 3-2. Mars Hill took the final four single matches and take the victory 6-3.

Converse heads to West Georgia, February 14 and Clark Atlanta on February 15.
