GREENVILLE, S.C. – Coming off of a 10-2 conference season that earned them the No. 3 seed in the conference tournament and a national ranking of No. 31, two members of the Converse University men's tennis team earned all-conference honors as announced by Conference Carolinas on Wednesday. Marty Letessier earned third-team honors.
Blary, a sophomore from Feucherolles, France, recorded an 8-3 conference singles record this year, going 6-3 at No. 1 singles and 2-0 at No. 2 singles. Overall, he posted an 11-10 singles record with a 6-8 record at No. 1 singles and a 4-1 record at No. 2 singles. He went 1-1 in conference doubles play with both matches coming at No. 3 doubles.
Letessier, a senior from Nimes, France, recorded an 8-2 conference singles record, splitting time between four different courts. He finished the year winning two of his final three singles matches, all played at No. 1 singles. Letessier won his four conference singles matches at No. 2 singles and his lone match at No. 3 singles. In doubles action, Letesier posted a 6-5 record in conference play, primarily at No. 2 doubles. Letessier won both of his conference doubles matches at No. 1 doubles and went 4-5 at No. 2 doubles.
