TRYON, N.C. – With just over a week until the Conference Carolinas Indoor Track and Field Championships, select members of the Converse University track and field teams competed this past weekend at the Tryon Mid-Winter Invitational.

Men's Notes:

• Sophomore Camden Ranieri ran a 7.18 in the 60 meters.
• Freshman Benjamin Notarangelo ran a 1:59.83 in the 800 meters, finishing 13th.
• Sophomore Alex Porter finished 10th in the mile with a time of 4:34.00.
  • Fellow sophomore Reece Evans finished in a time of 4:43.66 in 25th.
• Senior Jaxon Wright and freshman James Hook finished consecutively in the 5K with times of 16:39.84 and 16:42.91 in 20th and 21st respectively.
• Raineri hit a mark of 6.54 meters in the long jump, finishing in 20th at the meet.

Women's Notes:

• Sophomore Triniti Muldrow-Green ran a time of 1:02.98 in the 400 meters.
• Junior Mackenzie Crandell and sophomore Hailey Jones finished top 20 in the 5K, finishing in 20:38.88 and 20:55.81 and 14th and 16th place respectively.
