INDIANAPOLIS –  For the second time in the program's short four-year history, the Converse University men's soccer team (9-1-8, 6-0-6 Conference Carolinas) has earned a bid to the NCAA Super-Region 2 tournament. The Valkyries, who earned the fifth seed in the tournament, will host fourth-seeded Clayton State in the tournament's second round. The 2024 postseason marks the Valkyries' first at-large bid into NCAA postseason competition.

Converse completed its second-ever undefeated conference slate during the 2024 campaign, earning head coach Rob Miller his second Conference Carolinas Coach of the Year honor. Senior defender Gabriel Verona was named the Conference Carolinas Defensive Player of the Year, the second player in program history to earn Conference Carolinas Player of the Year honors. He joined fellow senior Hayden Gensler who earned Offensive Player of the Year honors following his sophomore season in 2022.
