Seiwald Earns Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Elite 23 Award Presented by McGriff Insurance Services

The Valkyries' junior had the highest GPA of all student-athletes at the championship site.

GREENVILLE, S.C. – With the conference's major fall sports concluded, Conference Carolinas announced their fall Elite 23 award winners. Junior defender Max Seiwald was announced as the winner for 2023 men's soccer season.

The Elite 23 Award honors Conference Carolinas student-athletes with the highest cumulative grade-point average at their respective championship site. The award is modeled after the NCAA's Elite 90 Award and it allows all student-athletes at the final championship site to win the award.

Seiwald's accomplishment adds another accolade to the list accumulated by the Conference-Carolinas runners up. Six Valkyries were honored as CSC All-District selections, four were named All-Conference selections and one was named an All-District selection.
