Coach Logan Simpson had this to say "Overall we had a great day as a program. The men showed huge growth from our opening meet just a week and a half ago. We showed a lot of fight, got tons of lifetime bests, and saw some huge time drops from our first meet.
Â
The women had a strong day. Sweeping both relays was huge, as was sweeping the distance events and both breaststrokes. We came up just 6 points short, and that definitely stings, but it's important to look beyond that and realize that we had a very strong meet. We'll go back to work Monday to close that narrow 6-point gap."
