Spartanburg S.C.- Converse women defeated the King tornadoes Wednesday night while the Converse men lost against King.

Men's notes

• Keith Rogers first event win in Men's program history was the 50 free with a time of 22:18

• Kirill Lyzhin finished second in his first collegiate race the 1000 free with a time of 10:53.38

• Micah Lesley finished second in his first collegiate race the 200 free with a time of 1:51.78

• Daniel Merzthal finished second in the 50 breast with a time of 27:83; 6 one-hundredths of a second behind first place. Merzthal finished second in the 50 fly with a time of 24:36. One-hundredth of a second behind first place.

• Landon Duffie finished second in the 100 fly with a time of 57:10

• Henry Winstead finished second in the 500 free with a time of 5:24.76

• Jonathan Santibanez finished second in the 100 Im with a time of 1:01.97

• Converse's men finished second in the 200 Medley Relay with a time of 1:54.84. The team consists of Ben Huston, Manny Schlichtmann, Chris Feuers, and Cameron Leverette.

Women's notes

• The women's team won 164 to 92

• Laureen Roussel became a school record holder for the 100 IM with a time of 1:02.25 and won the 50 breaststroke & 100 breast

• Ansley Young finished first in the 100 fly with a time of 1:00.11 and won the 50 butterfly

• Katie Beebe won all four of her events against King; 200 medley Relay, 200 free, 500 free, and the 200 free relay. 

• Julia Beebe finished first in the 1000 free with a time of 11:13.10

• Milly Byrne finished second in the 100 back with a time of 1:03.77

Converse Swim will be preparing for their next meet on Saturday, October 28th at Barton the meet will start at 1 p.m.
