SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Converse University men's tennis team will open up the 2022-2023 tennis season with a short trip up the road this weekend for the Limestone Invitational.
The Valkyries return Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year
Merlin Bellet (Agde, France). Last Season, Bellet went 13-5 overall and 8-2 in Conference Carolinas action as the Valkyries No. 1 tennis player. In doubles action, Bellet picked up an additional 11 wins playing as a member of the Valkyries No. 2 doubles tandem.
Also returning for the Valkyries this season will be
Paul Berrouet,
Cameron Davies,
Gregoire Legrand,
Leopold Morel and
Ethan Pall. Converse was active on the recruiting trail this summer as they added
Caleb Davidson,
Parker Davis,
Joseph Kanipe,
Enzo Marcheschi,
Jorjay Paladines and
Stanley Waters.
