HICKORY, N.C.- The Valkyries softball team was unable to get things going against (RV) Lenoir-Rhyne on Sunday afternoon falling in the twinbill 18-0 (5) and 8-0 (5).  L-R improves to 33-7 on the season while Converse drops to 6-22.

Converse was only able to muster one hit on the afternoon and three walks.  The Valkyries was held without a hit in the first game of the doubleheader.

Kelsie Land (Keller, Texas) went 1-1 with a walk in the second contest.  Savanna Fain (Inman, S.C.) and Mckayla Davis (Concord, N.C.) registered a walk on the afternoon.

The Valkyries will return home to face Conference Carolinas foe Limestone on Wednesday April 6.  First pitch is at 4pm.
