The lady All-Stars soccer team came up short in their season opener Saturday, losing 2-0 to Georgia College and State University. The first half was a tight one with neither teaming scoring any goals.

In the second half, GCSU's Britni Emerson scored at the 15:21 minute mark and at 21:00, Allison Dalbee scored the final goal for GCSU. Despite losing, the All-Stars had two goal attempts by Ashley Carry and Samantha Chapman. Goalkeeper Katie Heos also had 9 saves.

The lady All-Stars' next game is on Thursday September 2nd when they will travel to Gaffney, South Carolina to take on the Limestone Saints.
