GREENVILLE, S.C. – In a season in which the Converse University women's soccer team won a playoff game for the second consecutive year, two of the Valkyries' seniors, midfielder
Skylar Lund and defender
Giulia Rodrigues, were named all-conference selections as announced by the Conference Carolinas office on Friday afternoon.
Lund, a senior from Parkland, Florida, is having her best statistical season in 2025. She has scored nine goals and two assists through Wednesday's opening-round victory over North Greenville. She is second on the team in scoring with 20 points, coming from nine goals and two assists. Her nine goals are more than double her total from her previous three seasons combined. Lund ranks fifth in Conference Carolinas in goals scored this season and is tied for seventh in total points.
Rodrigues, a senior from São Paulo, Brazil, netted three goals while anchoring the Valkyries' backline that had the sixth-lowest goals allowed average in Conference Carolinas this season. She has played in all 19 of the team's games while making 18 starts and logging 1,601 minutes on the pitch.
