The Series
This will be the ninth all-time meeting between Converse and Emmanuel dating back to the 2013 season. The Valkyries are 5-3 in the overall series against the Lions and average 13.5 goals per game against Emmanuel. However, the Lions got the better of Converse last season as they defeated the Valkyries 20-6.  
 
Converse Notes

• Converse is 7-5 overall this season and 3-1 in Conference Carolinas action. The Valkyries are coming off an 18-8 win over Lees-McRae on Saturday afternoon.  
• Brenna Everette led the offense with five goals and one assist for a total of six points against the Bobcats. Ryleigh Schaeffer was second on the team with four goals and Hailey Obenchain finished third on the team with a hat trick. Obenchain once again led the team with four assists and seven points. Reagan Collins finished with a team high seven saves against the Bobcats.
• Converse is averaging 13.3 goals per game this season, 7.2 assists per game, 29.7 shots per game and 23.6 shots on goal per game this year.
• The Valkyries have scored 26 free position goals this season, have recorded 195 ground balls, forced 118 turnovers, won 199 draw controls and have posted a .780 clear percentage.
• Everette currently leads the team in goals scored (35), total shots (85) and shots on goal (73). Schaeffer is second on the team with 28 goals and Obenchain is third on the team with 23 goals.  
• Obenchain is currently ranked fifth nationally and leads both the conference and the team with 35 assists on the season. The freshman also leads the team with 58 points on the year.
• Coan and Schaeffer are tied for the team lead in ground balls with 25 each, while Schaeffer leads the team with 21 caused turnovers. Coan leads the team with 51 draw controls, while Karter Lauer is second on the team with 50 draw controls.  
• Reagan Collins has started 11 straight games for the Valkyries in net. The sophomore is currently 7-4 on the season and has made 98 total saves.

 
Emmanuel Notes

• Emmanuel is 3-8 overall and 1-3 in Conference Carolinas play this season. The Lions are just 1-6 in road games this year and they are coming off an 18-13 loss to Barton on Saturday afternoon.
• Lauren Kuschel led the team with 7 goals, Madison Pena and Meghan Jennings both finished second on the team with a pair of goals. Madison Duncan led the Lions in goal with a 17 save performance against the Bulldogs.
• The Lions are averaging 10.07 goals per game, 2.6 assists per game, 26.1 shots per game and 10.45 shots on goal per game.
• Emmanuel has scored 18 free position goals, recorded 145 ground balls, forced 82 turnovers, won 156 draw controls and has a .669 clear percentage.
• Justine Dorelas leads the team in goals scored (38), assists (7), points (45), total shots (83), shots on goal (64), free position goals (9), ground balls (22), caused turnovers (14) and draw controls (60). Anna Gill is second on the team with 23 goals scored and Lauren Kuschel is third on the team with 20 goals scored.
• Madison Duncan has started all 11 games in goal for the Lions this season. Duncan leads the team in minutes played and has accumulated 81 saves on the season.
