SPARTANBURG, S.C. – After serving as the graduate assistant for the men's soccer program for the 2025 season and the 2025-26 academic year, Carson Hickok has been elevated to assistant coach ahead of the 2026 campaign.

"Carson will be a great addition to our full-time staff," stated head coach Rob Miller. "He has played at a high level and grown over the last year in his GA position."

Prior to arriving at Converse, Hickok played four seasons of soccer at USC Upstate, where he graduated in May 2025. In four seasons as a Spartan, Hickok played in 46 matches and made 32, logging 2,642 minutes. Following his senior season, Hickok earned Big South All-Conference Honorable Mention accolades.

"I am very excited to continue with Converse," remarked Hickok on his promotion. "Coach Miller has been an excellent coach to learn from. I look forward to continuing the success of this program."

Hickok, a native of Destin, Florida, played his prep career at Niceville High School, appearing in 29 games and accounting for 14 points, five goals and four assists, over his final two seasons.
