Davis Advances to Saturday’s National Championship Race

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Fresh off her Conference Carolinas championship and USTFCCCA all-region honors, freshman Grace Davis recorded the fastest preliminary-round time in the 60-meter dash at the 2026 Indoor National Championships. She advances to tomorrow's national championship race. Davis is the first female student-athlete in Converse history to compete at the NCAA Indoor National Championships.

Davis, a freshman from Greenville, not only finished first in her heat, but finished with the fastest 60-meter dash time in all three heats, running a 7.30, six hundredths of a second faster than any other competitor during the preliminary rounds.

As the top finisher on Friday, Davis advances to tomorrow's national championship race scheduled for 4:20 P.M.
