GREENVILLE, S.C. – After reclaiming his regional lead in the 60-meter hurdles, junior Nick Tibolla has been named the Conference Carolinas Track Athlete of the Week.

Tibolla ran a time of 8.05 in the event finals at the Tryon Banked Invitational on Friday, placing him first in both Conference Carolinas and the southeast region. He also hit an NCAA provisional mark and ranks tied for 24th nationally in the event.

Tibolla and the Valkyries are back in action this weekend at JDL Fast Track for the Camel City Sprints and Camel City Distant meets.
