GREENVILLE, S.C. – Sophomore forward Kathryn Hoffman has been named the Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Week following a one-goal, three-assist week against regionally ranked Carson-Newman and conference foe Erskine.

On Wednesday, Hoffman scored the team's lone goal against Carson-Newman off of a free kick, narrowly keeping the strike just inside the top-right corner of the net.

She followed with a three-assist performance in the Valkyries' 4-1 victory over Erskine on Saturday, the first multi-assist game of her career. Hoffman passed to junior forward Varinia Delgado late in the first half as she netted the eventual game-winner. She then assisted junior midfielder Sam Quillen on a pair of goals in the second half.

The Valkyries return to action tonight against North Greenville at 5 P.M. in Tigerville.
