GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Conference Carolinas office announced the 2025-26 men's swimming & diving preseason coaches' poll on Thursday morning, Converse University was picked to finish second overall.
This is the highest predicted finish for the Converse men's swim team in program history. The Valkyries collected 19 total points and one first place point in the poll. Emmanuel was predicted to finish first with 25 total points and five first place votes. The Valkyries finished just ahead of Montevallo, King, Barton and Chowan.
The Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Year
Henry Stockton (Colorado Springs, Colo.) was named as a preseason player to watch. Last season, Stockton won three Conference Carolinas Championships, finish second in two other events and third in the 400 medley relay event.
Louis Milczynski (Montauban, France) was named a player to watch after helping the 200 free relay team win the Conference Carolinas Championship a season ago. Milczynski also had a pair of runner-up finishes and a pair of third place finishes at the Conference championships.
Joey Lilley (Greer, S.C.) was also named a player to watch by the conference office. Lilley helped the 200 free team to a conference championship and finished second twice a season ago. Lilley also helped the 400 medley relay team to a third place finish at the championship meet.
