BRISTOL, TENN. – The Converse University acrobatics and tumbling team won the inversion pyramid event final on Sunday morning at the King University Student Center Complex.
The acrobatics & tumbling athletes competing in today's event:
Nia Jackson,
Julia Petz,
Hannah Baker, Esha Nagireddi, Jannelle Horton,
Madison Seymour, and
Chloe Cleland. The Valkyries competed against both Coker and Limestone.
The Valkyries had the best starting value in the event with a perfect 10.0. As the No. 1 seed in the event, Converse did not disappoint as they scored a 9.875 to capture the title. Both Coker and Limestone scored a 9.450 in the event final.
