NEW ORLEANS – With the conclusion of the 2024-25 Indoor track and field season, two individuals and one relay team from the Converse University women's track and field team have been named U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association southeast region all-region performers.

The individuals are: junior Bella Martin and graduate student Jordan Brown. The members of the Valkyries' relay team are: senior Eseose Okoduwa, sophomore Jermyra Bethel and freshmen Kennedy Wright and Triniti Muldrow-Green.

Martin, a junior from Irmo, South Carolina, earned all-region honors in the weight throw and the shot put. She reached a season-best distance of 16.91 meters in the weight throw, achieved at the 2025 Conference Carolinas Indoor Championships on Feb. 23. It is the second-best mark in the southeast region this season. She also reached a mark of 12.62 meters in the shot put at the VMI Invitational on Jan. 24. That puts her fourth in the southeast region and second in Conference Carolinas.

Brown, a graduate student from McCormick, South Carolina, earned all-region honors in the high jump. She achieved a season-best mark of 1.64 meters, tied for the third-highest mark in the region and the best mark in Conference Carolinas. She won the gold medal at the 2025 Conference Carolinas Indoor Championships in the event.

Bethel, Muldrow-Green, Okoduwa and Wright earned all-region honors in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:54.32, achieved at the 2025 Conference Carolinas Indoor Championships at which they earned the gold medal. It is the second-fastest time in the event in the southeast region and the fastest time in the event in Conference Carolinas.
