Men’s Soccer Draws With King

BRISTOL, Tenn. – For the second time in as many games, the Converse University men's soccer team (4-4-2, 3-2-2 Conference Carolinas) drew with a divisional opponent, drawing with King 0-0 Tuesday afternoon.

The Valkyries attempted 19 shots while the Tornado attempted two. Thirteen of the Valkyries' shots were on goal while King only attempted a pair on-target.

Redshirt senior goalie Harry O'Brien recorded his second shoutout of the season.

Junior Kade Smith led the Valkyries in shots with four, a pair of which narrowly passed over the crossbar.

Next Up:
The Valkyries head to Banner Elk, North Carolina to take on the Lees-McRae Bobcats on Saturday, Oct. 11. The game is scheduled for 7 P.M.
