Cross Country Heads To The Derby City

Men's Notes:

Sophomore Alex Porter anchored the men's team in their last outing, finishing first among the Valkyries with a time of 23:19.41 in the Bulldog Stampede 7K.
Fellow sophomore Marti Ruiz Barreda finished next 10 places later in 48th with a time of 23:36.72.
Sophomore Ander Vera Moleres finished over four seconds ahead of second place in the team's first race of the season on Sept. 5.

Women's Notes:

Freshman Evie De Roos has anchored the women's team in both races, placing sixth at the Converse Kick-Off with a time of 19:34.2 in the 5K and a time of 23:43.75 in the 6K at the Bulldog Stampede.
Sophomores Peyton MacMillan and Sara Aguiar Torre finished 48th and 49th respectively at the Bulldog Stampede. MacMillan finished with a time of 24:47.75 and Aguiar Torre finished with a time of 24:56.62.
Junior Paisley Stepp finished next in 51st overall in the team's last outing with a time of 25:05.51.
