NORTHBOROUGH, MASS. – Converse University junior goalkeeper
Reagan Collins was one of 524 student-athletes across Division II to be named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll.
This is the second time this summer Collins has been honored with an academic award, earlier this summer the Spartanburg native was named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team. Collins is a junior accounting major with a 3.72 grade point average (GPA) and helped the lacrosse team make their second consecutive postseason appearance. This past season, Collins played every second in goal for the Valkyries and recorded a career high 158 saves this year. The Hub City native currently ranks second all-time in career saves with 374.
In order to be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
