Catalina Pistaccio (Buenos Aires, Argentina) has earned Offensive Player of Week honors.
Pistaccio helped the Valkyries to a 2-0 weekend with wins over Mercyhurst and Slippery Rock. On Saturday afternoon, Pistaccio tied the school record for goals in a game with a quartet of scores against the Lakers. On Sunday afternoon, Pistaccio found
Brooklyn Widdess for the game winning goal and her second assist of the season.
Pistaccio and the rest of the Valkyries field hockey team will be back in action tonight against Lander University and on Friday night against Limestone.
