Converse Cross Country Posts Program Best Finishes at NCAA Regionals
Spartanburg SC- This morning the Converse Cross Country team headed to Oakwood, GA to compete in the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships. The men's team finished 14th and the women's team finished 6th. The best team finishes in school history.

Head Coach Mark Rennix had this to say following the competition, "Both programs ran with a lot of heart and it was awesome to see them come away with their best team finish in school history. Each year we aim to be better than the last and this season was a huge stepping stone for the future of Converse cross country."

Time: Women's 6k 10:00am, Men's 10k 11:15am

The first runner to cross the finish line for Converse was Ruth Spijker, followed by Lauren Beatty, Ashley Sosa, Kamille Dixon, Froukje Mons, Bayley Robinson and Anne van den Broek.

The first runner to cross the finish line for the men's team was Luis Rios Brena finishing 32nd overall, the best individual finish in school history. Following Rios Brena was Alex Sosa, Alain Flores, Jaxon Wright, DreQuan Guyton, Spenser Kirby and Nathan Lucy.
