Cross Country Set to Host Converse Kick-Off on Friday Night

Men's 6K & Women's 5K

Men's Notes:

The Valkyrie men were selected second in the Conference Carolinas Preseason Poll. They were the only team outside of UNC Pembroke to receive a first-place vote.
A pair of Valkyrie sophomores, Ander Vera Moleres and Alex Porter, and one senior, Jaxon Wright, were named Conference Carolinas Players to Watch.
Vera Moleres is the team's top returner from their last meet at Milliken. He finished eighth at the 2024 Conference Carolina Championship race, finishing the 8K in a time of 25:40.2, and earning second-team all-conference honors.

Women's Notes:

The Valkyrie women were also selected to finish second in the Conference Carolinas Preseason Poll. They also received one first-place vote.
A pair of sophomores, Sara Aguiar Torre and Peyton MacMillan, and a junior, Paisley Stepp, were named Conference Carolinas Preseason Players to Watch.
Stepp is the team's top returner from their last race at Milliken. She finished 14th at the 2024 Conference Carolinas Championship race, finishing the 6K with a time of 23:39.4, and earning second-team all-conference honors.
