GREENVILLE, S.C. – After winning the Converse Kick-Off men's 6K on Friday evening, sophomore Ander Vera Moleres was named the Conference Carolinas Men's Runner of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Vera Moleres, a sophomore from Pamplona, Spain, won the event with a time of 19:11.3, over four full seconds faster than Southern Wesleyan senior Drew Jones, who finished with a time of 19:15.9. Vera Moleres finished 21 seconds ahead of the third-place finisher.

Next Up:
The Valkyries head to the Tar Heel State on Saturday, Sept. 20 to take part in the Southeast-Regional-Preview Bulldog Stampede hosted by Wingate University. The race is set to begin at 8 A.M.
