2024 (Senior): Helped the Valkyries to a Runner-Up finish at the Conference Carolina Championship...Finished 4th at the Young Harris Opener and set a new 6K PR with a time of 18:54.0...Finished 58th at the Converse Kick-Off (26:50.6)...Finished 7th overall at the Sand Shark Invitational and set an new 8K PR with a time of 26:10.9...Finished 21st at the Conference Carolina Championships (26:23.8)...Finished 83rd at the NCAA Southeast Regionals and set a new 10K PR with a time of 33:50.0. 

2023 (Junior): 8k Times- 27:11 (Live in Lou Classic),  27:46 (Converse Kick-Off), 27:28 (Royals Challenge), 27:05 (Conference Carolinas Championship),...10k Times- 33:55 (NCAA Southeast Regional Championships)

2022 (Sophomore): 8k Times - 27:56.2 (Louisville Classic), 28:14.8 (Conference Carolinas), 28:21.5 (D2 Festival Year Showcase), 28:34.0 (USC Upstate Eye Opener), 29:35.2 (Royals XC Challenge)...Ranked 6th all-time in Converse history in the 8k race.

2021-22 (Freshman): 8k Times - 29:36.7 (USC Upstate Eye Opener Invitational), 31:18.1 (Converse Kick-Off), 28:42.6 (Koala Classic), 28:06.2 (Royals Challenge), 28:57.5 (Conference Carolinas Cross Country Championships)...10k Times - 36:45.3 (NCAA Division ll Southeast Regional).

Prep: Graduated from Broome High School...Competed in Cross Country, Wrestling and Track...Was a State finalist in all three sports, named the Senior Male Athlete of the Year and graduated with honors...Posted a 28:07 in the 8k...Ran a 1:59 in the 800-meter run ad a 4:19 in the 1500-meter run...Outside of sports was a member of the Avid Program. 

Personal: Is the son of Cynthia Byers...Is related to former South Carolina football standout and current Dallas Cowboys player Rico Dowdle.
