SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Converse University men's and women's cross country team will be racing in the Live in Lou Cross Country Classic hosted by Louisville University on Saturday afternoon in Louisville, Kentucky. The men will be running in the silver race at 12:00 p.m. followed by the women who will be running in the silver race at 12:45 p.m.

Women's Notes:

• This will be the first away meet of the season as both of the teams' previous races have been held at Milliken Research Park.
• The Valkyrie women last competed on September 17 at their home event, the Converse Kick-Off.
• At the home meet, Lauren Beatty placed 6^th with a time of 22:55.4 in the 6k race. Kamille Dixon followed closely behind at 23:51.1 in 13^th place.
• In the week two USTFCCCA rankings, Converse defended 8^th place for their second ever appearance in the poll.

Men's Notes:

• This will also be the first away race of the season for the men away from Milliken Research Park.
• At the Converse Kick-Off Classic held on September 17, Luis Rios Brena finished in the top 20 with a time of 26:31.1 in the 8k.
• Four freshmen followed Brena with times of 27:50.3 (Zackery Carver), 28:16.5 (Jaxon Wright), 28:32.5 (Ethan Lee) and 29:25.7 (Sam Bagwell).
