The Series
This will be just the second time that Converse men's soccer and Mars Hill have stepped on the pitch together. Last season, the Lions defeated the Valkyries 3-0 in Mars Hill, N.C.
 
Converse Notes:

• Converse is 3-1 overall and 1-0 in Conference Carolinas action after picking up their first conference win of the season on Saturday afternoon against Barton College.
• In the 3-1 win, Sergi Quixal, Hayden Gensler and Kyle Lewis each scored a goal. Quixal, Maximillian Seiwald and Lewis each recorded an assist as well.
• David Windmiller held the Bulldogs to just one goal while making eight saves.
• Overall, Gensler leads the Valkyries with two goals and four points on the year. Lewis and Quixal follow with one goal, two assists and four points each.
• Defender Felix Frenz leads the team in shots with eight, followed by Gensler, Jaxon Keene and Sinan Kilincarslan who have each taken six shots.
• In goal, Windmiller has a 3-1 record with 12 saves and a .857 save percentage.

Mars Hill Notes:

• Mars Hill is 3-1-1 overall and 0-0-1 in South Atlantic Conference play after drawing with Coker on Saturday.
• Kevonte Willoughby-Williams scored the lone goal for the Lions after attempting four shots.
• Keeper Brennan Whalen saw five shots on goal, saving four of them
• Overall, Peter Plougmand leads the team with six goals, one assist, 13 points and 17 shots this season. Jorge Perez Prada follows with two goals, four points and six shots.
• Whalen is Mars Hill's leading keeper with 21 saves on the year at a .778 save percentage.
