Women’s Soccer Heads to Emory, Va. for Out-of-Conference Competition

The Series
This will be just the second time that the Wasps and the Valkyries have faced each other. Back in 2021, the match ended in a 1-1 tie in Spartanburg, S.C.

Converse Notes:

Converse is 1-2 on the season after most recently dropping a road contest in Savannah, Ga. to USC Beaufort. The final score was 1-0 after 90 minutes.
In the loss, Kaylee Couder led the team with two shots while Reagan Cash and Skylar Lund each took one shot.
Overall, Ellie Gore leads the team with one goal, two points and three shots on goal for a total of 141 minutes. Defender Isabella Boccia follows, playing 203 minutes while starting and playing in all three games.
As a keeper, Daelynn Perry has made eight saves on the season for a .800 save percentage.

Emory & Henry Notes:

This will be the first game of the 2022 season for Emory & Henry. The Wasps finished 9-3-2 overall last season.
Camilla Dobraniecki earned a spot on the Third Team All-South Atlantic Conference (SAC) team this year while the team was chosen to finish in the bottom of the league at twelfth in the conference.
Dobraniecki ended the 2021 season with seven goals, three being game winning goals, one assist and 15 points. She was also named the ECAC Division II Women's Soccer Rookie of the Month in both September and October.
