The Series
Converse University and Chowan will meet for the first time in program history on Saturday afternoon at McCracken Field. This will be the first Conference Carolinas matchup in program history for Converse University.

Converse Notes:
- The Valkyries are 2-1-1 on the season and they are coming off their first tie of the season on Wednesday night.
- Freshman Hayden Gensler led the offensive attack for the Valkyries against Catawba and became just the second player in school history to have multi-goal outing.
- Converse has scored at least four goals in three out of the first four matches in program history.
- The Valkyries have the sixth best offense in the nation and the best offense in the conference, averaging 3.25 goals per game this season.
- Converse also leads the conference and ranks sixth nationally in shots per game (20.3) this season.
- Freshman Hayden Gensler has emerged as an offensive threat for the Valkyries with four goals on the season. Gensler's multi-goal outing against Catawba has him tied for first in the conference and 18th nationally in total goals scored.
- Gero Wolters, Tim Boeckstaens and Jaxon Keene are close behind Gensler with two goals each on the season.
- David Windmiller has stood strong in the goal this season for the Valkyries making 15 saves on the year. Windmiller currently ranks eighth nationally in shutouts with two on the season. Â

Chowan Notes:
- Chowan is 2-2 overall this season and defeated #10 Lander at neutral site location earlier in the season.
- The Hawks are 1-1 in conference play with win over North Greenville and they are coming off a 2-0 loss to Mount Olive on Wednesday evening.
- Chowan is averaging 1.25 goals per game, 10.3 shots per game and the team has made 13 saves on the year.
- Toby Sims leads the team in goals scored (3), points (60 and game-winning goals (2).
- Harri Lovett leads the team with a trio of assists, while Tren Drexhage leads the Hawks in total shots (12) and shots on goal (5).
- Charlie Farrar has played every minute of the season in goal for the Hawks and has recorded 13 saves on 26 shot attempts.
