Spartanburg, SC- Converse Acrobatics and Tumbling put together a complete performance from start to finish tonight as they beat Belmont Abbey by a final score of 258.275-252.330. The Valkyries held a 35.7-33.1 advantage after the Compulsory portion following great showings in the Toss (9.6) and Acro (8.95) heats. Converse would go on to win events 2 and 3 to extend their lead over the Crusaders. Eventually Converse would drop the final team event by a narrow margin of 86.350-88.280 but their lead they had amassed earlier in the match would stand to be enough. 

The Valkyries will return to the mats this Thursday at Home as they welcome King to the Weisiger Center. That meet is scheduled for 6:00 PM.
