The Series
Converse University and Barton will be meeting for the first time on Saturday afternoon. The Valkyries will be looking for their second consecutive win, while the Bulldogs will be looking to get back in the win column.
 
Converse Notes:

• The Valkyries are 7-8-2 this season and 3-6-1 in Conference Carolinas play.
• Converse is coming off a 3-0 win over Emmanuel on Wednesday night at Fulp Field.
• Gero Wolters, Nicholas Gartung and Jaxon Keene all scored goals in the Valkyries win over the Lions.   
• The Valkyries are averaging 2.12 goals per game and 14.8 shots per contest.
• Hayden Gensler and Fabio Pasini are tied for the team lead with 16 points this season. Pasini leads the team with 8 goals this season, while Gensler is second on the team with 7 goals this season.

Barton Notes:

• Barton is 8-5 overall this season and 7-3 in Conference Carolinas play.
• The Bulldogs are 3-2 at home this season and they are coming off a 2-1 loss to Francis Marion on Wednesday evening.
• The last time Barton played at home they defeated Erskine 5-1 on October 16^th.
• Barton is averaging 1.69 goals per game this season and they are averaging just over 13 shots per contest.
• Luis Hernandez Velasco leads the team in goals scored (10), points (22), total shots (38), shots on goal (26) and game-winning goals (5).
