The Series
Converse University and Emmanuel will be meeting for the first time on Wednesday evening. The Valkyries will be playing on the newly renovated turf at Fulp Field for the just the second time this season.
 
Converse Notes:

• The Valkyries are 6-8-2 this season and 2-6-1 in Conference Carolinas play.
• Converse is coming off a 1-0 loss to Mount Olive on Saturday afternoon at Fulp Field.  
• The Valkyries are averaging 2.06 goals per game and 15.3 shots per contest.
• Hayden Gensler and Fabio Pasini are tied for the team lead with 16 points this season. Pasini is the reigning Conference Carolinas offensive Player of the Week, following a hat-trick against USC Aiken last Saturday. Pasini leads the team with 8 goals this season, while Gensler is second on the team with 7 goals this season.
• David Windmiller has played almost every minute in goal for the Valkyries this season and has recorded 59 saves on 188 shots faced.

 
Emmanuel Notes:

• Emmanuel is 3-8 overall this season and 3-6 in Conference Carolinas action this season.
• Following a six-game losing streak, the Lions have won their last two matchups against Southern Wesleyan and King. Emmanuel is 1-5 on the road this season, with their lone win coming against King this past Saturday.
• The Lions are averaging 0.55 goals per game and 9.9 shots per contest. Emmanuel has attempted 56 corner kicks and has made 52 saves this season.
• Alexander Panner leads the team in goals scored (3), goals assisted (3), points (9), total shots (21), shots on goal (9) and game-winning goals (1).
• Rodrigo De La Terga has started nine games in goal this season for the Lions and has made 38 saves on 123 shots faced.
