Converse University and Johnson & Wales will be meeting for the first time in program history on Thursday night in Spartanburg.
 
Converse Notes:

• The Valkyries are 4-7-1 this season and 2-5-0 in Conference Carolinas play.
• Converse is coming off a 2-0 win over King University on Tuesday evening. For the Valkyries it was their third clean sheet of the season and it ended a three-game losing skid.
• Hayden Gensler scored his sixth goal of the season and less than a minute later Jaxon Keene found Fabio Pasini for the second goal of the game. David Windmiller made just one save on the night to keep the shutout intact.   
• The Valkyries are averaging 1.83 goals per game and 15.4 shots per contest.
• Conference Carolinas Freshman of the Month Hayden Gensler has been a spark coming off the bench for most of the season and he leads the team in goals scored (6) and points (13).
• Fabio Pasini is second on the team in goals scored (5), points (10) and shots on goal (11). Pasini is tied with Gensler for the most shots this season with 29.
• David Windmiller has played every minute in goal for the Valkyries this season and has recorded 41 saves on 138 shots faced.

 
Johnson & Wales Notes:

• Johnson & Wales is 4-7 overall this season and 1-6 on the road.
• The Wildcats are coming off a 5-0 loss to Bob Jones on Saturday afternoon.
• Prior to the Wildcats setback, Johnson & Wales was on a two-match winning streak with wins over Warren Wilson and Emory & Henry.
• The Wildcats are averaging 1.64 goals per game and 13.0 shots per game this season.
• Josiah Davis and Brandon Greene are currently tied for the team lead in goals scored (4) and points (8). Davis currently leads the team with 25 total shots and 13 shots on goal.
• Four different goalies have started for the Wildcats this season, with Michael Vasquez making the most starts with five on the season. The junior has made 18 saves this season and has allowed 10 goals.
