SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The Converse Lacrosse team was handed a 22-4 Conference Carolinas loss by No. 7 Limestone on Tuesday afternoon.

Jessi Walters led the Valkyries with two goals and one assist.  Elizabeth Gabriele and Aubrie Lauderdale notched a goal and an assist each.

HOW IT HAPPENED

1st Half:

Limestone jumped out to an early 2-0 lead before Aubrie Lauderdale found Elizabeth Gabriele for the first goal for Converse at the 22:03 mark.

The Saints would limit the Valkyries in the first half as Limestone led 17-1 at the break.

2nd Half:

Converse would find the back of the net three times in the second half as the Limestone attacked slowed.

Jessi Walters scored off a dish from Elizabeth Gabriele to halt the attack at 18-2.  Walters would score again with under five minutes to play after Brittni Jones' assist.

Aubrie Lauderdale scored the final goal for the Valkyries with 1:47 left off a pass from Jessi Walters.
