Box Score MISENHEIMER, N.C.- Converse Lacrosse fell by the hands of Pfeiffer in the Conference Carolinas Lacrosse Quarterfinals on Tuesday afternoon by a score of 20-1. Converse ended the season tied with the best mark in program history with a record of 9-9, while Pfeiffer improved to 10-6.
The first half was dominated by the Falcons scoring 11 unanswered goals and enabling a running clock for the final 35 minutes. Converse recorded two shots in the first stanza.
The Valkyries scored its lone goal of the game early in the second half off a free position shot by Chelsea Worrell just 1:24 into the second half. Worrell finished with four shots, all on target.
Pfeiffer went on to post nine more goals to push the lead to 20-1 and take the match.
Aubrie Lauderdale, Elizabeth Gabriele, and Sydnie Hickey recorded shots in the contest. Hickey picked up three ground balls to lead the Valkyries. Lauderdale recorded three draw controls.
