Converse Notes:
  • The Valkyries enter Saturday having taken two of their last three contests. Their most recent game, a 5-2 loss to Young Harris on Sept. 19, was preceded by a 6-2 home victory over Ferrum on Sept. 12 and a 5-2 road victory over Emmanuel on Sept. 16.
  • Aided by a hat trick against Emmanuel, freshman forward Keira Smylie leads the Valkyries in scoring this season with eight points. She also netted a goal against Ferrum.
  • Freshman goalkeeper Sofía Casares Herrasti has started all seven of the Valkyries' games and played all but one half in goal. She has recorded 24 saves this season and a save percentage of 0.632 on 86 shots faced. She posted her season and career high of eight saves against Lander on Sept. 2.
  • The Valkyries look to snap a six-game skid to the Trojans dating back to Sept. 8, 2018.
Mount Olive Notes:
  • The Trojans enter the matchup 4-3-2 overall and an undefeated 2-0-2 in conference play. Converse looks to hand the Trojans their first conference loss since Nov. 1, 2025, against Ferrum.
  • Senior midfielder Malia Acevedo leads the Trojans offensively with seven points. She has scored three goals and assisted on one.
  • Eight different Trojans have scored at least one goal this season, with three who have scored at least two.
  • Senior goalkeeper Anais Coyne has played in and started seven games this season, playing all 90 minutes in each of those games. She has conceded just six goals while making 24 saves, good for a save percentage of 0.800 and a goals-allowed average of 0.86. She has a 3-0-2 goalie record this season.
