SPARTANBURG, S.C. – For the first time since the 2021-2022 season, the Converse University equestrian team has a rider advancing to the IHSA National Championships.
Halle Aho won the Intro Flat event at the IHSA Zones show in Savannah last weekend, adding to her IHSA Region Championship won at the IHSA Regionals last month at Lander. With Aho's win, she becomes the first equestrian rider to advance to the Nationals round since Madison Montgomery achieved the feat during the 2021-2022 season.
Lani Pardue placed seventh in the Intermediate fences event at the IHSA Zones show last weekend. Earlier this month Pardue won the event at the IHSA Regional show.
The 2026 IHSA National Championships will be held close by at Tryon International on May 1
