Cross Country Heads to Wingate for Bulldog Stampede

Women's 6K & Men's 7K
Time: Women 8 A.M. | Men 8:45 A.M.
Location: Wingate XC Facility | Wingate, N.C.

Men's Notes:

The Valkyrie men were selected second in the Conference Carolinas Preseason Poll. They were the only team outside of UNC Pembroke to receive a first-place vote.
Sophomore Ander Vera Morleres won the 2025 Converse Kick-Off 6K on Sept. 5.
The Valkyries are joined in the race by: Allen, Anderson, Belmont Abbey, Catawba, Coker, Columbia International, Fayetteville State, Flagler, Francis Marion, Lincoln Memorial, Southern Wesleyan, UNC Pembroke, Voorhees and Wingate. There will be two unattached runners.

Women's Notes:

The Valkyrie women were also selected to finish second in the Conference Carolinas Preseason Poll. They also received one first-place vote.
Freshman Evie De Roos was the team's top finisher at the Converse Kick-Off 5K. She finished sixth overall and was the second-fastest finisher from Conference Carolinas.
