Converse Notes:

• Converse is 4-5 overall this season and 4-4 in Conference Carolinas action. The Valkyries are coming off a 249.615 - 248.780 win over Wingate University on Thursday evening.
• The win secured the Valkyries trip to the postseason for the seventh consecutive season.   
• This season the Valkyries are averaging a 33.419 in the Compulsory Event, a 24.931 in the Acro event, a 28.125 in the Pyramid event, a 25.731 in the Toss Event, a 47.375 in the Tumbling Event and a 76.416 in the Team Event.
• The Valkyries best score in the Compulsory event this season was a 34.750 against Emmanuel. The Valkyries best score in the Acro Event was a 27.500 against Wingate. Converse scored a season best 29.350 in Pyramid event against Wingate.
• In the toss event, the Valkyries scored a season best 26.400 against Emmanuel. In the Tumbling event the Valkyries scored a season best 49.400 against Saint Leo, and in the Team Event the Valkyries scored a season best 85.340 against Saint Leo.  
• Last time out the Valkyries won four events and 14 heat wins against Wingate.     

Mars Hill Notes:

• Mars Hill is 7-3 overall this season and 6-2 in Conference Carolinas play this season. The Lions are coming off a pair of losses to Limestone and Lander on Thursday evening.
• The last time these two teams met, Mars Hill won 234.060 – 233.110 over Converse.
• The Lions won the Compulsory event 33.55 – 33.50 over the Valkyries, Mars Hill also won the Acro event and the Toss event against Converse. The Lions also won the team event by three points.
• This is the first time the Lions have made the postseason and it is also the first time they will be hosting the quarterfinals round of the conference tournament.
