SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Converse University Equestrian team is headed back down to Greenwood, S.C., this weekend to compete in the IHSA Regionals.    
 
Senior Sydney Shipp has qualified for her third straight IHSA Regional Show, having competed in both 2024 and 2023. Last season, Shipp finished fourth in the region in the limit fences event. Sophomore's Sarah Lawler and Nora Warren are making their IHSA Regional Show debut this weekend.
 
Last time out, Olivia Liopiros won the Zone 5 Region 3 Sportsmanship Award for the 2024-2025 equestrian season. During the show, Liopiros finished second in the open flat event, Lawler finished second in the pre novice flat event, and Sydney Duda finished third in the novice flat event. Shipp won the intermediate fences event and Halle Aho won the intro flat event.
