Women’s Soccer Looks to Bounce Back Against Anderson

The Valkyries enter the matchup after splitting their first two contests of the season. Converse defeated Allen 7-1 on Sept. 5 and fell to Flagler 4-2 on Sept. 7.
Junior midfielder Jasmine Hernandez leads the team in scoring with six points, all coming from her team-leading three goals. She is currently tied for second nationally in total goals this season.
Sophomore defender Ava Forrester leads the team in minutes played with 148 minutes on the pitch. She is followed by freshman goalkeeper Gabriella Gudeman.
Eight Valkyries have taken part in scoring through two games.

Anderson enters the contest while riding a two-game win streak to start the season. They have taken down USC Aiken 2-1 and Emmanuel 2-0.
The Trojans were selected tied-forth in the SAC preseason poll.
Junior forward Catherine Nardella leads the team in scoring with two goals. She scored one goal in each of the team's two games.
Sophomore goalkeeper Arriel Frey is the only Trojan to appear at the position in two games. She allowed one goal on five shots-on-target faced.
