GREENWOOD, S.C. – The Converse University equestrian team finished third overall at the Lander/Clemson Show Day.
Olivia Liopiros started the day off with a first place finish in the open over fences event.
Sydney Shipp followed it up with a second place finish in the intermediate on the flat event. With her finish, Shipp also qualified for regionals at the end of the season.
Anna Ruby Whitmire placed third in the limit on the flat event.
Heather Harris placed second in the limit over fences event,
Halle Aho finished first in the introductory event and
Sarah Lawler placed second in the introductory event.
Sydney Duda placed fourth in the pre novice category and
Nora Warren finished fourth in the introductory event. Lawler also qualified for regionals after her performance in the introductory event.
The equestrian team will be back in action on February 1
st and 2
nd at the Georgia Southern Showday.
