The Valkyries enter Saturday's contest following a heart-breaking loss to King on Wednesday night at Weisiger Stadium. A yellow card was issued to the Valkyries with under two minutes to play resulting in the game winning goal scored by the Tornado.
Senior defender Brooklyn Galler leads the team in goals scored with two. Three other Valkyries have each scored one goal.
Freshman goalkeeper Allie Nepomuceno is a game-time decision after missing the previous two games with injury. Junior forward Kiersten Schrawyer has started in goal in those two games.
The last time the Valkyries competed on the road, the team outshot their opponent, the Erskine Flying Fleet, 19-0. Nine of those shots were on goal.

North Greenville Notes:

The Crusaders were tabbed second in the Conference Carolinas preseason poll. North Greenville were 2022 regular season co-champions.
Despite a sub-500 record, the Crusaders' one victory was a 6-2 conference victory over Southern Wesleyan.
Sophomore midfielder Isabella Gyurich, freshman defender Valerie Hernandez and senior defender Elainee Sprinkle all lead the Crusaders in scoring with two goals each. Senior forward Jada Patrick has accounted for the same number of points with one goal and two assists.
Sophomore goalkeeper Haleigh Holland has served as the team's keeper for all but the second half of the team's victory over Southern Wesleyan. She has a save percentage of 0.675.
